Windows Server 2016 Standard license: put your business applications on a capable server
Choose a Windows Server 2016 Standard license to match your business application and infrastructure requirements. SolidLicense offers digital delivery, a clear choice of core coverage and help with your order. Confirm the version, edition and deployment requirements before buying, then use the WhatsApp payment link sent by our team to complete payment before delivery.
The listed price is $27.90 USD. Select 16 cores or 24 cores before placing your order; both options have the same price for this edition. Choose the edition your software vendor supports rather than relying on the product name alone to decide whether an existing environment is compatible.

Why choose Windows Server 2016 Standard?
Organize your network services
Windows Server 2016 Standard supports core server roles such as Active Directory Domain Services, DNS, DHCP and file services. Deploy the roles you actually need and configure permissions, backups and monitoring for your network. The availability of individual enhancements depends on the selected Windows Server release.
Run compatible applications and virtual machines
Windows Server provides a platform for compatible server applications and Hyper-V workloads. Check processor virtualization support, storage design and application certification before installation. Software, hardware and cloud subscriptions needed by your workload are separate purchases.
Choose Standard for a smaller virtualization footprint
Standard is intended for physical servers and lower-density virtualization. Under applicable physical-core licensing terms, a fully licensed server normally has rights for two Windows Server operating system environments. Additional virtual machines can require further licensing; the selected pack must first cover the server’s licensing minimums.
What your Windows Server 2016 Standard license covers
Select 16 cores or 24 cores. Both options cost $27.90 for this product. Core coverage is the number of core licenses in the selected pack, not a hardware-performance limit or a number of users. Physical-core licensing requires covering all physical cores, with a minimum of eight core licenses per physical processor and sixteen per server. A server with more than twenty-four physical cores needs additional coverage.

- Product-key and setup instructions for your order.
- WhatsApp help with order and setup questions.
A product key, the software’s technical capacity and the license coverage you purchase are different things. Successful installation does not remove core-count, deployment or access-license requirements. Consult Microsoft’s licensing guidance for the applicable model, and contact us if you need to confirm the pack for your deployment. This listing does not include installation labor, hardware, managed services or unrelated Microsoft software.
Client access licenses are separate
CALs are not included. Windows Server user/device access licensing is separate from server core licensing. Remote Desktop Services can require additional RDS CALs; two administrative remote sessions should not be confused with licensing for a full remote-desktop service. Contact us on WhatsApp for CALs and tell us the server version, user or device count and intended access method.
Check compatibility before deployment
Confirm the exact Windows Server 2016 Standard release with your hardware manufacturer and application vendor. Review supported operating systems, processors, memory, disk space and required components for the workload you plan to run. Production databases, virtualization hosts and shared services generally need more resources than the minimum installation requirements. Test application compatibility and have a recovery plan before replacing a working server.
Check whether your application requires Server Core or Desktop Experience and which edition its vendor certifies. Verify evaluation-conversion and upgrade compatibility before assuming a purchased key can be applied directly to the current installation. Back up data and document the existing configuration before any installation, conversion or migration.
Support and updates
Microsoft sets the support lifecycle for Windows Server 2016 Standard. Keep the installation on a supported servicing level and review the release lifecycle before planning a new deployment. This product does not include Software Assurance, future-version upgrades, an extended security update subscription or a separate Microsoft support contract.
Read the official Windows Server 2016 lifecycle page for current support dates. Azure services, management subscriptions and third-party support plans have their own terms and costs and are separate from this purchase.
Payment before delivery and activation
- Select your product: confirm Windows Server 2016 Standard and the required core pack.
- Place the order: enter accurate contact details and a reachable WhatsApp number at checkout.
- Receive the payment link: our team sends the link through WhatsApp for your order.
- Complete payment: license delivery and setup details follow confirmed payment and order processing.
The Windows Server and SQL Server payment process is payment first, followed by digital delivery and activation/setup. The payment link is supplied by our team; selecting a product does not install or activate your server automatically. Read Delivery and payments or visit Contact us if you need help before ordering.
How to set up Windows Server 2016 Standard
Install or confirm the matching Windows Server 2016 Standard edition, connect to the internet and follow the supplied product-key instructions. The activation route depends on the installation and license channel. Administrators should use Microsoft’s supported activation tools and verify the resulting activation status. Evaluation installations may require a supported conversion or reinstall before a purchased key can be used; confirm your existing setup before ordering.
Review Microsoft’s setup guidance before modifying a production environment. If a product key or setup step reports an error, send our team the error code and the installed version/edition. Keep full product keys and sensitive server information private. Do not send administrator passwords through a public support message.
Questions before you buy
Does a larger core pack include a different edition?
No. Both core options on this page are for Windows Server 2016 Standard. The pack changes the amount of core coverage, not the product’s version or edition.
Are CALs included?
No separate CAL products are bundled. Server core licensing does not replace Windows Server or RDS access licensing. Contact WhatsApp if you need separate CALs.
Is Software Assurance included?
No. This listing does not bundle Software Assurance or subscriptions. Do not assume that cloud mobility, future-version upgrades or subscription-dependent virtualization rights are part of this order.
Can I reinstall or change the deployment?
Changes depend on the applicable license terms and your existing configuration. Contact our team before assuming a key or pack can move to another host, cover more cores or support additional installations.
